Other giving options

Anyone who wishes to support Beautiful Savior’s ministry financially may choose to use:

  1. Offering Plate

Cash or check may be placed in the offering plate before or during worship services.
Offering envelopes help the counters properly credit your gifts.

  2. Gift Planning: Bequests, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Personal Endowments, Real Estate, Gift Annuities

The LCMS Foundation provides gift-planning services to help guide individuals on the advantages of these
methods of donation, including the possibility of our long-term ministry through an end of life gift.

  3. Donations in Kind

Receipts for purchases made for the church may be submitted to the financial secretary to be credited for tax deduction purposes.

  4. Qualified Charitable Distributions

Those who are over 70.5 years of age can donate funds directly from traditional Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). Unlike other withdrawals from IRAs, these withdrawals are not taxed as income, and yet they count toward the Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).

  5. Donor Advised Funds

A Donor-Advised Fund may be set up at a brokerage and instructed to make individual or recurring charitable contributions to the church.

  6. Gifts of Securities

Stocks, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and bonds may be donated directly to BSLC’s brokerage account. To make such a gift, provide your broker with the following information:
Account Name: Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church
Brokerage Firm: Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.
    DTC Number: 0164, Code 40
    Account Number: 9032-8621

  7. Bill Pay

One-time or recurring payments (autopay) can be set up through a bank, and may be processed for free.
